Foundation repair and replacement is our specialty. In fact, everything we do (structural repair, seismic retrofitting, water management) is related to it. Our work includes (but is not limited to) foundations (1-3 story structures, additions, T-foundations, mat foundations); retaining walls/beams (soldier, concrete, wood, tie-backs), piers (drilled, soldier, steel pilings), frames (moment), and engineered concrete steps.

Most of our work is on existing residential structures. One- to two-story foundations on a flat lot can generally be done without engineered plans, as well as some retaining walls under 30 inches. More complex projects require engineered plans. And yet, no matter the complexity, we will do anything that's engineered.

You're part of the family

We do very limited new home or commercial foundation work. However, our "Alameda Structural family" is very important to us; if we've done work for you in the past, we consider you a part of the "family," and we will always service you. This includes engineers and architects, and if they refer something to us that we wouldn't normally do, we will accommodate them.
